01General Information

General Information

Some basic things to know about Japan before the trip: its geography, language, money and the weather we will find in October.

Geography

Japan is a country in East Asia made up of more than 6,800 islands. Its capital is Tokyo, one of the most populated cities in the world.

Language

The official language is Japanese. In tourist areas you can also find signs and people who speak basic English.

Currency

The currency is the Japanese yen (¥). It is a good idea to carry cash, because a lot of places do not accept credit cards.

Weather

We are travelling in October, so the weather will be warm and nice, between 15 and 22 °C. It is one of the best months to visit Japan.
